The 2017-18 Yale in New York season features music from Schoenberg's Society for Private Musical Performance. The second concert in the series, Reflections from the Second Viennese School, includes Webern's arrangement of Schoenberg’s innovative Chamber Symphony No. 1 as well as Schoenberg's arrangements of waltzes by Johann Strauss II, with faculty violinist Wendy Sharp and faculty pianist Melvin Chen.
